Like the launch of BlackBerry 10 at the end of the month, there is also a World Economic Forum that happens annually at the end of January. Davos is a city in eastern Switzerland that became famous in the 1990s for hosting this forum. On CNBC today at multiple time slots their were ‘BlackBerry 10 Sponsored’ adverts that invoke some of the BB10 UI styling to get world leaders informed about BlackBerry 10 and the ‘Davos Experience.’ Really awesome to see this specifically directed advertising prior to launch. It’ll be amazing to see the power of BlackBerry 10 “When in the Right Hands” check out the video for the BlackBerry 10 commercial spot.
