During Mobile World Congress 2015, BlackBerry revealed they were working on the first BlackBerry 10 Slider device. All we got from this quick reveal was a photo and nothing more. Now we know the codename of the device is actually the BlackBerry “Venice”.
BlackBerry “Venice” Slider specs:
- 5.4-inch Quad-HD display
- 18 MP rear-camera
- 5 MP front-camera
- 1.8 GHz Hexa-core (Snapdragon 808 chipset) 64-bit
- 3 GB RAM
If you are a techie like me you will notice that the chipset that is being used in this device is the same exact chipset that LG used in their new LG G4. Using this chipset will make the Venice super fast and could possibly allow for the Android OS to run on the device. The BlackBerry “Venice” Slider is said to be released by November 2015.
