On a conference call this morning new CEO Thorsten Heins stated that he has no plans to split RIM into separate services, devices and services will coincide as they always have with the Blackberry Platform.
RIM is sending out the following emails to developers asking “Is your app ready for BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0?” They are asking devs to have their applications submitted “by February 7, 2012 to allow time for review and acceptance prior to the BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 launch.”
