According to an N4BB source PlayBook OS 2.0 is set to launch on February 21st… Now we have been hearing the date range from February 15th on until the end of the month. At this time there is no official launch date for PlayBook OS 2.0 at this time.

We received an email from BlackBerry stating the ScoreLoop has ended the 1.0 beta effective February 10th. They also stated in the email that they have now integrated the ScoreLoop application into the native SDK 2.0 for the PlayBook.

On a conference call this morning new CEO Thorsten Heins stated that he has no plans to split RIM into separate services, devices and services will coincide as they always have with the Blackberry Platform.
